When the Turbine SL project began, our goal was straightforward: to design a stem that would help endurance riders achieve a more aggressive, forward position on their bike. This led to the development of a stem with a negative rise, specifically tailored for XC and downcountry applications.
As rider preferences evolved, we noticed a growing demand for options that would offer a more upright body position, especially for Trail bikes. With cockpits becoming more adjustable, we saw an opportunity to create a versatile stem that could cater to a wider range of riders, helping them achieve their ideal position, regardless of discipline.
The Turbine SL is a 6mm offset stem that is engineered to be ultra-lightweight, yet it can be flipped to provide either a positive or negative rise. This adaptability allows riders to fine-tune their setup, whether they′re aiming for aerodynamic efficiency, improved comfort, or greater descending confidence.
