The Shimano XTR CS-M9101 is a premium 12-speed cassette designed to work seamlessly with Shimano’s revolutionary Hyperglide+ technology. This allows you to shift gears under full load—even during hard uphill acceleration—as the chain moves between sprockets smoothly, quietly, and without any harsh clunking.

The weight of the cassette is minimized through a clever choice of materials: the largest sprockets are made of lightweight aluminum, the middle ones from durable titanium, and the smallest from tough steel. The entire assembly rests on a rigid aluminum spider arm construction. Please note that this cassette requires a Shimano Micro Spline freehub body, which enables the use of the small 10-tooth starting sprocket.
