Improving on the legendary D3 was no easy task, but the TLD engineers pulled it off. Simply put, the D4 is the best full-face helmet we have ever tried on.

The redesigned carbon fiber shell of the D4 Carbon is lighter than ever, yet stronger and stiffer. Its protection features include Mips® C2 technology against rotational impacts, a collarbone-friendly lower shell design and quick-release cheek pads for emergencies.

Cooling is handled by 20 completely redesigned vents. For a true downhill helmet, the D4 is remarkably cool, and the difference to earlier models is significant.

X-Static® and XT2® anti-microbial, anti-odor padding makes riding more pleasant and keeps the helmet fresh longer.
